CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE TEACHING

Our efforts focus on the (4) domains of culturally responsive teaching:

  1. Culture Management

  2. Authentic Engagement

  3. Social Justice

  4. Community Engagement.

This approach to classroom instruction has successfully improved both mathematics and English language arts assessment scores in the classrooms of participating teachers. Survey results from students have also demonstrated a dramatic increase in the classroom experience for students of color.
