Launched in February 2019, Education PowerED is one of the fastest growing movements in education promoting culturally responsive teaching and identity-based education. Education PowerED conducts educational research, develops instructional resources, and facilities teacher education centered on the four domains of culturally responsive teaching: Culture Management, Authentic Engagement, Social Justice, and Community Partnerships.

We generate research and actionable data that help schools design identity-centered models with clarity and accountability. Our work translates classroom practice into documented insight, giving leaders the evidence and strategy needed to strengthen outcomes for Black students and other historically underserved communities.
Professional Learning & Consulting
We facilitate strategy-centered professional learning that moves educators from awareness to implementation. Our consulting supports school leaders in embedding culturally responsive practice into instruction, systems, and daily decision making. The result is stronger classroom culture and measurable academic growth.
Instructional Resource Development
We create practical instructional tools that increase authentic engagement and academic rigor. Our resources are built for real classrooms and equip educators to lead identity-affirming lessons that drive student ownership and achievement.
